If they cannot expect you have towonder weather or not they are your real friends because friends are people who look out and respect you.  If I were in that position I would talk it through with them and say whats on my mind and see if they understand them and if they didn't I would go elsewhere.

Don't fret do a simple finding spell by visulising the goddess and then ask her for your lost posscession it will turn up in your mind and tell you where it is.
